Responsible publisher
The responsible publisher and a functioning privacy contact must be identified before launch. Applicable US state privacy obligations must be assessed against actual location, business activities, and data processing.
Current website behavior
Google Tag Manager loads with Google Consent Mode categories initially denied. Meta Pixel is configured for optional page-view measurement and loads only after marketing consent. Meta can then receive page-view events and associated browser/request information. Analytics and display advertising remain disabled. Search terms are processed to display matching articles; the application does not create a persistent search history. Hosting/security logging, processing arrangements and retention still require publisher review.
Browser preferences
If you save cookie settings, your browser stores gb-consent-v1 in first-party localStorage for up to 180 days. It records choices and an expiry timestamp. Saving preferences does not activate disabled services.
Third-party links
Sources and future shopping links lead to other websites with their own policies. No affiliate tracking link is configured. Future relationships and any data sharing must be documented before activation.
US privacy rights and choices
You can change or withdraw marketing consent in Cookie settings and clear browser storage. Global Privacy Control keeps marketing consent denied. Withdrawal revokes Meta consent for subsequent events; it does not undo information already transmitted. Applicable privacy rights, contact details and any required sale/sharing disclosures remain subject to publisher review.
Children
The launch review must assess the audience and any collection involving children. This draft does not claim COPPA compliance. Features collecting children's personal information must not be activated without the required assessment and safeguards.
Changes and contact
New tracking, forms, or partners require an updated policy and consent review. A verified public privacy contact is still required.
